The Christ United Methodist Church of Olean and the Western New York Alzheimer’s Caregiver Partnership are offering a Free Respite Program called “Caring Heart”.
Trained volunteers offer fun, supervised activities to keep your loved one purposefully occupied while you take a much needed break. The program is available to caregivers on the second Tuesday of each month, from 10:30-2:30, at the Christ United Methodist Church, located at 633 Linwood Avenue. This program is open to the entire community, but you must register. For more information, and to register for the program, contact Leona Fisher at (716)373-9893. The Western New York Alzheimer’s Caregiver Partnership is funded by a New York State Department of Health grant.
The Olean Parks and Recreation Department presents their 2018 Concert in Lincoln Park series, on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm, at the Lincoln Park Gazebo…the Rain Site, if needed, is the John J. Ash. Community Center, on North Barry Street. The concert schedule:

“Pop Up Cinema”, a series of movies shown outdoors on the campus of Jamestown Community College’s Olean Campus, will be shown on Saturday nights, starting at dusk. the screen will be set up between the old railroad depot and the JCC Library. In case of inclement weather, the movies will be shown at JCC’s Cutco Theatre, at 8:00. No pets or alcohol…

Sign up now for the Rehabilitation Foundation’s Bocce Ball Tournament at this year’s Taste of Olean Event in Olean’s War Veteran’s Park on Sunday, July 22. Two-person team registration is $30, which includes tickets for food and drink at the Taste of Olean.
